How To Put Music On PSP – Step By Step Guide
One of the features available in PSP are the ability to play music files namely MP3 format. Certain PSP will also be able to play other types of music files such as Window very own WMA and WMV format, but we will get into that later. However these are restricted to newer version of PSP. This is a rundown on how to put music on PSP.
The steps taken is no different than transferring any files from your PC to PSP memory stick. In order to put music on PSP you will require a USB cable.
This is how you put music on PSP:
1. Connect your PSP with your PC using the USB cable.
2. Use your PSP interface and hit HOME button, and then go into “Settings”. Here you will have to use
the directional button to find “USB Connection”
3. Once the connection is made, you will need to check your PCs available drives. You can do this by
going into “My Computer”. Your PC should detect your PSP as and additional drive. It is not much
different from using portable drive or thumb drives actually.
4. Click on your assigned PSP drive.
5. Create a new folder call “music” on your PSP drive
6. Select your MP3 music from your PC and drag it into your “music” folder on your PSP. Note that all
this is done in your PC interface.
7. When all the desired MP3 are transferred, get out of the USB connection mode by pressing “O” on
your PSP.
8. Find the music area in your PSP, and select your memory stick. Search for your “music” folder and
you are good to go.
If you have other types of music format in your PC, i.e. WMV or WMA, you will need a converter to convert those files to MP3 format. Do not fret though, as Sony will also supply PSP user with its very own Image Converter. You can easily convert WMA and WMV files format into MP3 format and just repeat the whole process on how to put music on PSP.
On the other hand if you want to play WMV and WMA files without converting your files to MP3, you can always update your PSP firmware to the latest firmware. However, I would not recommend this (upgrading your PSP firmware) as it will severely limit your PSP experience. Some of the effect of upgrading your PSP firmware is that certain games you have will not work on your PSP with the latest firmware. There are forums dedicated to PSP downgrading as a lot of people want to revert back to their old firmware.
“How to put music on your PSP?” has been asked countless times and using PSP interface it is as easy as transferring files to your USB thumb drives. Hope this articles helps.

Nintendo DS Movie Player Plays Movies and Music On Your Nintendo DS and GBA
I’m always searching for the latest gadgets and game accessories. Be they from third party manufacturers or from the system creators themselves. But I have to admit that when I first heard about Nintendo’s Movie Player add on for the Nintendo DS, I was very surprised.
The reason for my surprise was quite simple. You see, I’ve been watching movies on my Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS, well, since their release date, with a really fantastic little accessory called the NDS / GBA Movie player.
After doing some searching on Google, I am equally surprised that more Nintendo DS (or Gameboy Advance) owners have not heard of this truly unexampled accessory for their Nintendo DS. It seems that perhaps with all the hype around the Sony PSP and it’s movie playing capabilities, we’ve all neglected to take a look at the less expensive Nintendo DS as anything other than a handheld game system.
What really made this accessory a must buy for myself, was the fact that in addition to movies, I was also able to listen to my MP3 music on my Nintendo DS too – just like Sony PSP owners can. I won’t go into the debate as to which handheld system is better, or offers more… That’s would negate the real reason for this article, which is simply to show Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance owners that their fun little handheld game system is capable of playing all types of media files too.
The GBA/NDS Movie Player enables you to use your Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, or Gameboy Micro to play video and audio files and read e-books from standard Compact Flash cards. And before you think that you’ll only be able to watch movie clips or short films, let me be clear in stating that you can watch an entire full length movie with the Movie Player. You can use your PC and a normal Compact Flash card reader to transfer and convert your media files to the Compact Flash cards. The included software even converts files directly from DVD to the proper movie Player format.
And before you think that it’ll take a rocket scientist to convert their DVD movie to the proper file type – think again! The software is so very easy to use, that it requires you to do nothing more than insert the DVD movie you wish to convert, or the digital file if you have it. While this is not any special format so to speak, as the UMD movie discs are for Sony PSP. You can actually take any DVD movie you own, and convert it with the included software to be played back on your Nintendo DS system. What this means is that you’re not stuck buying multiple versions of the same movie to watch that movie on the go.
One of the most common question that I’m asked is whether or not the movie player can actually store and play back a full length movie from a compact flash card. I can completely understand why this would be confusing. I mean, let’s face it, DVD movies are several GIGABYTES in size, how could these possibly fit on a small 256 Megabyte CF card.
I always answer that question with the very same answer. It can play full length movies just fine. But in case you’re wondering just how that may be possible, let me explain. It has a lot to do with the screen size of the GBA and Nintendo DS. Because the screen is much smaller, the file size of the full length movie can be much smaller too, simply because it does not have to maintain a very high resolution the same way it would if you were to watch that movie on your TV set. In essence, it “down converts” the DVD movie, to make it fit right onto the GBA or Nintendo DS screen, otherwise you would have to scrool left to right and up and down in order to see the whole video.
For those of you wondering just how how big your Compact Flash card has to be to enjoy a full movie, here’s a breakdown of the amount of video you can store on common compact flash card sizes. And I have to remind you to take into consideration that most movies are no more than 95 – 110 minutes long. This will give you a real indication of just how much you can stare on each card.
The following is a list of the amount of storage you can have on various compact flash cards. 960 minutes on a 1GB Compact Flash, 480 minutes on a 512MB Compact Flash, 240 minutes on a 256MB Compact Flash, and 120 minutes on a 128MB Compact Flash. As you can see, even a 128M compact flash card is adequate to store a full length movie.
In order to watch a movie on the GBA Movie Player, you’ll first have to use your PC to convert the DVD movie to the proper file format for the player itself. This can be done quite easily with the included software that comes with the GBA Movie Player itself. And don’t forget. You can do a whole lot more than just watch movies. You can actually listen to MP3 music, read e-books, and even load PDA type software onto the Compact Flash card which will essentially turn your Nintendo DS into a very functional PDA.
Rather than waiting for the Nintendo DS movie player, which will be released sometime next year by Nintendo themselves, I would urge all NDS owners to take a look at the GBA/NDS Movie Player. It’s packed with functions and features, and has a price that simply can’t be beat. Even when adding up the cost of a Nintendo DS and the Movie Player, you’ll find that you’re still at par, or cheaper than most good quality portable DVD players.
And let’s face it, you simply can’t put a portable DVD player in your pocket, or have it play the latest Mario game either.
Zen Video Downloads – Where To Download Videos For Your Creative Zen?
Soon after I began searching for Zen videos, I realized that there are really no sites out there that were actually dedicated to providing us Zen download lovers, with movies, videos, and music to download. So I decided to scour the internet in search of reliable Zen movie download sites. Well, my search has now finally been completed, and the results are quite disappointing. You see, there are two types of sites out there to download Zen media; I’ll speak about these briefly.
Zen Movie Download Site 1 – Pay Per Download
Now, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand that this can be very costly, and there are just not that many good Zen downloads available from these sites. If you are thinking about downloading Zen videos, or Zen movies than this type of site is out of the question. However, if you are just going to download a couple of cool MP3‘s that you heard on the radio, than this type of Zen download site would be a good choice.
Zen Video Download Site 2 – Unlimited Downloads
That’s right, for a very reasonable price, you can download unlimited Zen movies, music, and videos. This is by far the best type of site to download Zen Vision movies or videos. The price is very reasonable usually around $35 and you get unlimited downloads, forever. No monthly fees, no pay per download, nothing. Once you sign up, you can get started immediately downloading Zen videos. You can continue to do this for the life of your Zen, without any more fees. Download as much as you want, whenever you want. There are over 2 million users of these sites and approximately 90 million files to choose from. You are sure to find all of the Zen downloads you ever wanted here.
Earlier I mentioned that only a select few Zen download sites are actually worth it. So I guess you’re asking… “Where do I go to get the unlimited downloads!?” Well, why I didn’t find many sites out there, this is the one that saved me from the greedy pay per download sites.
Guide How to Upload Music Files to Your MP3 Player
The people ask me one question frequently: How can I upload music to my brand new mp3 player?
Well, for some of you guys and galls this is easy question. But out there are peoples, for which it is difficult to progress. Here I will try to explain this process – concisely.
Ok, so, if you buy your mp3 players from the store or online and the device is brand new, you must have a box. Where is your new player, of course and some other important things. Those things are:
Installation CD, USB cable, earphones, recharger and maybe one or two more extras.
Installation CD – this is important, because its necessary for connection between MP3 player and Computer. This CD will help your Operating System to recognize the device. If you have Windows 2003 and above, maybe there is no need to install anything, but you still must have a CD in the box – in any case. For Example, Windows XP in 90% of cases will recognize your player automatically, when you have connected it with USB cable. This CD is also known as Driver CD or User Manual CD.
You must turn on your mp3 player and plug the cable with it. Then plug the other jack in to the computer. Now your device is connected to your PC. Now, if Windows recognizes the player automatically, messages will appear, like – “New Hardware Device Found” and “Hardware Installed and Ready to Use”. In this case, when your mp3 player is installed, go to My Computer and look for the new icon, called “Removable Storage Device”, or the icon may also be named with the name of you player. For Example: SciFlux Mp3 Player Device or something like that.
If windows cant recognize your player, then you must to use the Driver CD. Put it in the CD or DVD Drive. Usually this CD`s are with “autorun” feature. Just wait, do nothing and after few seconds the installing application will appear. Look at the possibilities. You must see something like “Install” or “Install Drivers” or something different, but very similar to “Install” or “Drivers”. Follow the setup. Usually this process is short and easy, all you have to do is to click “Next” and “Finish” on the end. When you do this … your player is now installed. And again – go to My Computer and look for the new icon – this is your mp3 player.
So, you have installed you mp3 player already. Your Player Storage device will be located in My Computer, like I say before. All you have to do now is to click on it twice. When the digital player is brand new, there will be nothing – empty. So, go to your hard drives, locate your music files. When you choose the music files you like to upload to the mp3 player, just copy them. Select -> Copy. Then go to Your mp3 player icon in My Computer ( the new icon, remember?), double click it … and PASTE. Wait the copying process to complete and you are done. Now, switch OFF the USB cable and enjoy your music.
So, its ease, right? I hope this article, will be helpful for some of you guys and galls.
What is a Pocket Bike?
If you have heard people talking about pocket bikes, and are unsure what they are, this article will help to set you straight. We will be discussing why the small pocket bike has become so attractive in recent times, I will give you a brief overview of what the bike is and what they are used for. After reading this, we will have more of an idea of what people are talking about when they refer to the pocket bike.
In this day and age, things seem to be getting smaller and smaller. For example, the mobile phone, which used to be the size of two bricks, is now small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Likewise, as children, we used to walk around with large CD Walkmen to play our music on, nowadays, children have MP3 players that are no larger than a box of matches. Pocket bikes are a good example of the motorbike following these same trends.
The bikes are basically a motorbike, shrunk down to the science of about 2 feet tall. This makes them extremely easy to store. You can put them in the corner of your garage, and they take up hardly any space at all. They are also easy to transport. If you have a decent sized car, they will even fit in the trunk. There are two different types of pocket bikes that you can get. You can get ones that are powered by gas or petrol, and you can also get ones that our electric. The gas powered pocket bikes tend to be a lot more powerful than the electric ones. Generally speaking, the bikes can reach speeds of up to 40 km an hour.
Pocket bikes are used for various reasons. For example, they are a great starting bike for your child. As mentioned previously, they are very easy to store and transport. They are also a lot safer than the larger dirt bikes. You can feel safe as a parent, knowing that your child is riding a pocket bike rather than a larger motorbike. The bikes are also used by adults for racing and for performing tricks such as jumps. They can also be of a great social benefit to you and your family. There are many community groups based around the pocket bike that meet on a regular basis to discuss their hobby, and to race with each other in specially modified bikes. Finally, they are a much cheaper option than a full-sized motorbike. If you shop around you should be able to pick up a pocket bike for under $1000, which makes it a very inexpensive gift.
Learn to Speak French Fluently – You Need to Hear French People
If you want to learn to speak French fluently there is only so much you can get from books. Books are great for the nitty-gritty of a language, and I wouldn’t be without a good English to French dictionary, but a language is a series of sounds so it makes sense that to learn it well you need to hear it.
Modern French language lessons on CD, MP3 or podcast are a huge step forward. They are much more entertaining and involving than your average French text book and it’s very likely you will enjoy them more. It stands to reason then, that if you’re having a good time you learn French quickly.
You can search for free French lessons online and you’ll find a variety of sound files. Some good, some not so good. Some have been around it seems for ever and it can be frustrating to find that they are in a format that isn’t compatible anymore. Don’t complain too much though, you’re looking for free so you’ve got to expect it to take a while to find the good stuff.
If you want to short-cut the process and learn to speak French fluently in the shortest possible time you will want to consider French CDs that you have to pay for. You will find you have a huge choice, from those that are a few dollars to those that are in the hundreds. Mostly it’s a question of getting what you pay for. The cheap ones tend to be OK for beginners and are often aimed at children. For more advanced learning you are going to have to pay more money.
When making your choice, try and make sure you get sound files that are spoken by French people. No matter how fluent you get, or the teacher is, if you’re not actually French your accent will be different. If you are English you must accept that you will never be mistaken for a French person – just like you would instantly recognize a French person by their accent even if their English was excellent. You just know. That’s not actually important. What’s important is that you try to learn the French accented language, not the accent that someone has if they come from another country.
If you find free French lessons online that are of an acceptable standard you don’t need to be so fussy – but if you are paying for lessons, it makes sense to pay for a French person to teach you!
You can’t learn to speak French fluently in an afternoon, or a week, but the more you practice the faster you get. Your ear gets accustomed to your new language. Luckily it’s no longer the chore it used to be, pouring over old text books. Modern language systems make learning French fun and you’ll be fluent in no time!
How To Speak About And Describe A Home
This lesson will be useful if you have to rent, buy or just describe a place (house, apartment, etc). You should remember 3 verbs: Estar/Ser/Tener and some possessive pronouns. First, you should know that in Spanish we divide places into “ambientes” (environments). “Ambientes” are considered the living room and bedrooms. So, if a house has one living room, 2 bedrooms, one a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, this house has 3 ambientes. A place with only one ambiente is called a monoambiente.
We categorize different types of properties into departamentos (apartments), pisos (flats) and casas (houses).
Una propiedad puede SER (A property can be…)
Moderna (Modern)
Clásica/Antigua (Classical/old)
Espaciosa (Spacious)
Luminosa (Light)
Oscura (Dark)
Cálida (Warm)
Fría (Cold)
Cara/No muy cara (Expensive/Not very expensive)
Barata (Cheap)
Una propiedad puede ESTAR (A property can be…)
Amueblada (furnished)
Sin amueblar (unfurnished).
Bien Comunicada (Well connected)
Cerca de…(Close/near to something)
Lejos del centro (away from the center)
En la ciudad (In the city)
En las afueras (In the suburbs)
En una zona tranquila/ruidosa/silenciosa (In a calm / loud / quiet zone)
Una propiedad puede TENER (A property can to have…)
Patio (Patio)
Balcón (Balcony)
Baño/s (Bathroom)
Cocina individual o compartida (Individual kitchen or a part of another room, for example, connected to the living room)
Garaje (Garage)
Piscina (Swimming pool)
¿A dónde da tu casa? (Where is your house faced?) *Please note this is a non-literal translation
Da a la calle (It faces the street)
Da al contrafrente (It faces a wall from another building)
Da al mar (It faces the sea)
Remember that you can use possessive pronouns to make conversations about places.
Mío/a/s (Mine)
Tuyo/a/s (Your’s)
Suyo/a/s (Their’s)
Nuestro/a/s (Our’s)
Suyo/a/s (Their’s)
In order to not repeat the same word twice, we can use an article (female, male, singular or plural) according to what we are speaking about, and the possessive pronoun.
For example:
Mi casa es céntrica. (My house is centrally located)
La mía está en las afueras. (Mine is in the suburbs.)
Nuestro departamento es cálido, pero el suyo es frío. (Our department is warm, but his is cold.)
Mi casa tiene piscina, ¿y la tuya? (My house has a pool, what about yours?)
To express the arrangement of furniture in the house, you can use:
Debajo (de) (under)
Encima (de) (Above)
Detrás (de) (behind)
Delante (de) (in front of)
Entre (Between)
A la derecha (de) (To the right)
A la izquierda (de) (To the left)
Al lado (de) (Next to)
En el centro (de) (To the center)
Describing a home is a common thing to do in any language, so hopefully this lesson provides you with some great tools to use. Whether you are renting an apartment in a Spanish speaking country, describing your apartment to your Spanish speaking friend, knowing the right ways to speak about homes will take you a long way.
